VIETNAM ANNOUNCES ASEAN CHAMBER AGM

On September 2, 2003, the Minister of Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed the ASEAN Cosmetic Harmonization Agreement on behalf of the Government. / 01/2008. On August 14, 2006, the Minister of Health issued Decision No. 24/2006 / QD-BYT on the implementation and guiding the implementation of the principles and standards of Good Manufacturing Practices. of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, stipulates that since January 1, 2008, all cosmetics manufacturing establishments must operate in accordance with CGMP-ASEAN principles and standards.

On January 6, 2012, the Drug Administration of Vietnam issued the Official Letter No. 135 / QLD-MP on the implementation of CGMP-ASEAN in the production of cosmetics directing the provincial / municipal Health Services. CGMP-ASEAN does not issue a number for receiving cosmetic product announcement. ”

Currently, under the Investment Law No. 67/2014 / QH13 and Enterprise Law No. 68/2014 / QH13 was approved by the XIII National Assembly on November 26, 2014 and will take effect from July 1, 2015. Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 8 and Clause 6, Article 17 of the Enterprise Law; Clause 2, Article 17 and Clause 198, Appendix 4 of the Investment Law, cosmetics production becomes conditional investment.
